Losing both children to the fire, single mother bounces back with a tool that makes America’s home safe again, and for always.

Casey Wolff’s fire alarm went off during midnight, her mind immediately raced to her two kids sleeping on the other side of the house. She opened her room door to find the hall filled with heavy smoke and fierce fire. She tried using buckets of water to put out the fire, but the fire only continued roaring and going out of control. There was no other tool to use to put out the fire or protect herself; even more so, there was no way to reach the kids. Immediately she picked up her phone to call 911.

“At that time, my room was getting smoky, I went to my window for some air. I felt the heat of the fire on my back and skin, it was getting difficult to breathe, it’s like I was going to pass out.” – Casey Wolff

And she did, once she heard the fire engines approaching.

The fire took her home, and her children

“The next thing I knew, I was being treated for smoke inhalation in a hospital. My blonde hair was black, and my skin was covered with burnt blisters.” – Casey Wolff

Once Casey was awake, the doctors went to her, along with the investigators.

“After investigation, we believe the fire broke out from a faulty extension cord. The house exploded, and was almost burnt to the ground, it took 2 hours to take out the fire completely. And the two children did not make it, I’m so sorry.” – James Mulligan, chief investigator

The news dropped like a bomb, leaving Casey’s heart in pieces, just like her home. Emotionally shattered, Casey locked herself up in her mother’s house. Her appetite was gone just like her children, and so was her will to live.

But all these took a turn thanks to Casey’s mom.

Her mother’s wise words brought back her will to live

“Don’t let their death go to waste”

That’s what Casey’s mother said to her. And that struck Casey hard, it helped her get over the grief and brought new purpose to her life.

“I need to do something to prevent anyone else from experiencing this pain. I lost my children to the fire, not just because of the fire, but because I didn’t have the tools to put out the fire and get to my children. We need something more accessible, and easier to use. That way, America’s homes can be safe again, and for always. That’s why I created the FireSafe Blanket.” – Casey Wolff

The FireSafe Blanket

The FireSafe Blanket is the most effective safety device when it comes to a fire breakout. Better than the fire extinguisher, it doesn’t require maintenance or knowledge on how to use it.

It is made of a fireproof fabric constructed with a sheet of woven lightweight fiberglass, making it flame-retardant, withstanding temperatures of up to 1650 degrees Fahrenheit. And because it is lightweight and compact, you can easily grab it at a moment’s notice.

This blanket is designed to extinguish starting fires, by placing it over the fire to smother it. Besides that, wrapping yourself with this blanket helps you to move in and around the fire, ideal for when the flames are blocking the exit or if you are trying to help others get out.

We recommend this!

We may be well aware of fire safety, but most of us do not have the proper equipment in cases of emergency. Due to the cost and maintenance needed, not many homes are equipped with fire extinguishers, which exposes American homes to higher risks of uncontrollable fire.

The FireSafe Blanket is here to fill that gap and make a difference. Just because it hasn’t happened, doesn’t mean it never will. Protect your home and loved ones, gear up with FireSafe Blanket.
