Owner Abbie Saunders was on a holiday overseas when her dog, Bear, went missing. He had escaped from her friend’s house.
She caught the next flight home immediately to search for her beloved pet, spending the next six months putting up lost dog posters and starting a search on social media.
But there was no sign of Bear.
“I nearly lost all hope… until I got a call.” – Abbie
Abbie was told that someone had spotted a dog that matched Bear’s description.
“They said the dog was skittish and wouldn’t accept food at all.”
“It could be seen wandering in and out of the woods near their place.” – Abbie
Abbie dropped everything and rushed to where Bear was reported to be seen. In the dark, she could barely make out anything until she saw something move towards her cautiously.
“Bear? Is that Bear?” – Abbie
She crouched and extended her hand for the dog to sniff and the dog started to wag its tail frantically in excitement as he starts to recognize Abbie’s scent.
Abbie bursts into tears, embracing her pup while Bear showers her with affection by licking her face.
“For a rescue dog, who is very skittish, to survive for six months in the woods by himself is a lucky break.” – Abbie
Seeing Bear’s matted and tangled appearance, Abbie brought him back home for a good wash.
After the bath, Bear’s fur was not only still a matted mess, he also developed a severe itch.
“I was horrified.”
“I watched him scratch himself aggressively, whimpering, and crying when he stopped. Only to start scratching himself again soon after.”
“For years I had bathed Bear and never once had I seen him react so badly.”
“I didn’t know what went wrong.” – Abbie
Without a second to waste, Abbie quickly brought Bear to the best pet dermatologist in town—Dr. David Fowler.
After examining Bear’s skin, Dr. David told Abbie:
“Due to being out in harsh weather conditions for a long time, Bear’s skin had become sensitive and irritated.”
“His coat is infested by tiny mites and if you get past the matted fur, you can see that his skin infection has progressed to infected lesions.”
“Some of the lesions are even infected with parasites.”
Abbie was devastated by the news.
“I grew up with Bear. He’s my best friend.”
“He must’ve been in so much pain all this time.” – Abbie
But Dr. David told Abbie not to worry.
“I’ve been experimenting to create a conditioner that is suitable for all pet skin conditions. Moxi™ is the fruit of my 5-year research.” – Dr. David
The Moxi™ Fur Conditioner is made from a pH-balanced, natural, and soap-free formulation.
It contains all-natural botanical oils that are antibacterial and antifungal. These natural oils can be easily absorbed as they are similar to the essential oils found on the dog’s coat and skin which will help to relieve itching and prevent further flare-ups.
“Moxi™ not only cleanses and detangles the coat, it also locks moisture into your dog’s skin.”
“Revealing a soft, plush and healthy coat that smells fresh.”
“And leaving your dog feeling happy and pampered.”
“The perfect drug-free alternative to pet dermatological issues.” – Dr. David
“Bear had a rough six months in the wild.”
“I couldn’t bear to see him suffer any longer, so I gave Moxi™ a shot.” – Abbie
She massaged the conditioner into Bear’s coat and was amazed to find that the matted fur detangled easily.
“I couldn’t believe how silky Bear felt!”
“I could run my fingers through his coat easily—no snags or tangles!” – Abbie
After a minute of massaging, Bear’s coat was smooth and shiny, and he had stopped pawing at himself.
“After a day of non-stop scratching, I was happy to see him sleep soundly by my side.” – Abbie
After a month, Abbie took to the internet to update everyone on Bear’s condition.
“Bear is settled back in with the family and is recovering well.”
“I brought him back to the vet and they said his skin condition is back to normal and I can’t help but thank Dr. David for introducing Moxi™ to me.”
“If it wasn’t for his help, Bear’s condition may have worsened.”
“As for what our little runaway Bear saw and did on his six-month adventure, I guess that will remain a mystery forever.”
“I’m just glad that he’s home now—happy, warm, safe and sound.” – Abbie
