Samuel Hall, 28, is a firefighter from South Florida.
What seemed like a normal day turned out to be his worst nightmare. He could still recall it like it was yesterday.
That day, the emergency siren sounded in the station. Being closest to the fire pole, Samuel was the first to get down. But he didn’t make it to the ground. He was stuck at the opening. He tried to twist and turn but he just couldn’t wiggle his way down.
He couldn’t meet the eyes of the other firefighters.
“I told them to leave me.”
“Any longer and the people who were in danger couldn’t be saved.” – Samuel
Wasting no time, his colleagues took the stairs. They left him there for 3 hours. And when they came back… they were very solemn.
“It was a house fire. They couldn’t save the children.”
“They said they were too late, but I knew the real reason.”
“They were late because of me. The children died because of me.” – Samuel
He couldn’t believe how lax his discipline had become.
“I love my job, really, but being a fireman takes a toll on you.”
“Physically and mentally.”
“I had to reward myself somehow.” – Samuel
To Samuel, that ‘reward’ meant limitless snacking and suppers every day.
“I didn’t think much of it because it didn’t affect my ability to rescue people.”
“But this is the final straw.” – Samuel
It was also his last chance. His fire chief had issued him a final warning.
“How can a 257 lbs firefighter save lives?”
“What kind of life saver are you if you put others in danger?”
“If you don’t pass the fitness test in 6 months, you’re fired.” – Fire Chief Ryan Morgan
Samuel tried everything. He tried various diets like Keto, Paleo, Weight Watchers, and Nutrisystem. He even got a gym membership and attended different fitness classes.
“But nothing worked for me.” – Samuel
Everything drove him into a corner–the guilt of getting in the way of saving the children, the anxiety from the approaching fitness test to zero progress in his weight loss.
It caused him to start his binge eating habits again. His weight skyrocketed to 350 lbs and his figure ballooned.
As a last resort, he considered a gastric bypass surgery but there was a problem. His family doctor, Dr. Callan Evans, told him that the surgery would be too risky given his rapid weight gain.
Samuel felt disheartened.
“But… there might be something else that could help you.” – Dr. Callan Evans
Dr. Callan handed Samuel something that looked like a white band-aid.
“He called it Ginns™.” – Samuel
Dr. Callan explained that Ginns™ is a blend of more than 10 natural medicinal herbs such as ginseng, cassia seed, and ginger root. When applied onto the skin, the herb extracts will be absorbed through a transdermal process.
The herbal goodness will stimulate and boost lipid metabolism where fat cells are penetrated, deconstructed and dissolved–blocking further absorption of grease, sugar and starch. Then, the active herbal ingredients will flush out toxins from our intestines and body.
Other key ingredients include gingko biloba and gotu kola which helps to reduce cellulite and restore skin elasticity.
Much to his surprise, the pounds started to shed.
In less than a week, he dropped 7 lbs. Within a month, almost 41 lbs were lost. After 2 months, Samuel had to buy new clothes because his old ones were too loose for him.
“The numbers kept dropping. I thought my scale was broken!”
“I could sprint for miles without getting tired.”
“I’m happier and more confident.” – Samuel
Not only did he ace the fitness test, he even graced the front cover of the 2019 South Florida Firefighter Calendar to serve as an inspiration and motivation to everyone who wants to get in shape.
“Getting stuck, for all the destruction and distress it caused… it was a blessing.”
“With it and the help of Ginns™, I was given a restart.”
“I can finally give my all in rescuing others.”
“I have become a true life-saving fireman.” – Samuel
